Dressed to the nines!

UNFORTUNATELY, I think I've deleted my prom pictures. I wasn't able to bring a camera during our prom, so yeah I wasted memories worth capturing.

In our school, the promenade is held once every two years. Yes, two friggin' years, meaning you only get to attend it once. It is a huge event for every girl, basically because she gets to be dressed up, made up, and treated like a princess. Personally, I enjoyed twirling around my very huge ball gown even though it was quite heavy and, yeah old fashioned in some ways.

I actually hated my prom dress. My mom made me wear this seriously huge gown, in pink/peach, with a bolero which made me look like a matron. I wanted a short dress, with tulle, polka dots, in hot pink, black and white, think Hairspray-inspired. Either that or a shift dress in pink with lots of black, ala Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's. Then I would love to wear strappy heels! My bag would be a simple clutch bag. I liked my hair though, very Holly Golightly!

I want to go to a prom. I have this violet dress which I wore for a school program last year, and I would love to wear it as my prom dress. It's a shift dress, though not Hepburn-ish, but it's so funky that it's actually suitable and decent enough for a prom.

Another thing, we weren't allowed to pick our dates. SUCKS RIGHT?

But hey, at least my then-crush danced with me for three songs! WHAT UP! In the end, the guy and I... We had a thing, it lasted long, but it's now dead.

MOVING ON!

If I had to pick a prom date, he should be really funny and a real gentleman. Hmmm alam na? :)) Then we'd dance the night away! Prom songs would be Trey Songz' Bottoms Up, Like a G6 of Far East Movement, and of course, DAVID GUETTA MIXES! I can't think of slow songs that I can dance to, it actually depends on who I am dancing with.

I seriously want to go to another prom.
